Mount & Blade 2: Sequel of Heaven

What is the low-down on Mount and Blade two? I've been seeing a lot of references to "M&BII", but I haven't seen any actual facts about it.
Search it, and M&B2 is everywhere, with no supporting evidence ;D

I've been here one whole day, so in my ultimate archival knowledge I have yet to discover a thread about it.

(After you tell me about M&B2...)

Mount and Blade dos is an ENTIRELY new game, and is not covered in the "Buy the Key, and it is bound to your soul forever" policy of updates, right?

I have yet to buy a Cereal Quay, so I've been playing trial characters up to level 8 repeatedly (3 times).

Will my purchase of a key for number one apply to the wholly appraised and upcoming release of Mount & Blade 2?

We dont know anything about M&B2, M&B 1 has only just come out give the dev's a little break lol. Your key would i'd guess only work for M&B 1, because at the moment there is no such game called M&B2, so the serial key is only going to work for 1. Give it a while before you pled for M&B2. Seeing as you have only played the trial so far you have missed out on most of M&B 1 so far. Play this game first, then dream of 2!

Well M&B 2 hasn;t even been confirmed as far as i know..it's just people moaning about features they want in M&B but will never be added so they start going on about M&B 2 haveing them..it's Stupid in my opinion, Armagan and Co Have just finished M&B and are immediatly Pushed into M&B 2..people should let them relax now.

Really the forums needed a big new Q&A to be stickied just before M&B came out so that the huge influx of new recruits would'nt be going on and on about things but hey cant blame them too much . . . or can we?

Hehe, sadly, yes. Especially once MB2 comes out.
I would choose MB+Multiplayer+Newer features over ye olde mb 2.

If there is a M&B 2..people need to stop whineing and be happy with M&B..i am. it is one of my top favorate games

GW Boooo. I got bored of the loneliness, and there are only asians in that game.

I LOVE SoC:OL. Im too cheap to buy CS, but it's brand new, and that Russian company Looooves bugs.

This game is one of my favorites, and I STILL haven't bought it. Loser 

What am I waiting for? Iunno.

Also, for everyone.

Steam + Steam groups is a good way to communicate with M+B lovers. I "add non-steam game" 'ed and run it, so i can Shift+tab to talk to people.

I will make a "Mount & Blade" steamgroup, if noone has yet.

Nope, I play on NORMAL/ Stalker difficulty.

By play I mean in the past. I just got to the Monoliths, literally JUST shut down the brain scorcher. Now I'm in the search of the game that captures my soul.

Can't afford Warhammer, so I guess I found it: M&B2 Woo

Play stalker on the hardest settings with Oblvion Lost and then you'll have more fun..and find a fast way to fix Constipation.

If your waiting for M&B2 then..well..you'll be waiting for a long time

Haha yeah, no thanks. Maybe in the future, but my colon is all bled out.

I camped in Freedom base in Army Warehouses for a week because 3 controllers and at least 50 zombies were roaming around. I hid in the boss' room because it was blowout proof. (I slept a lot).

I finally got some balls, ran downstairs to the armory, and got the Grenade launcher.

Mount and Blade isn't anywhere near as developed as it could or should be, in my opinion.

Zombies are easy but controllers..that's nasty. Just snipe em..you get a assault rifle Scope From the duty guy in the dark valley.if you rescue his buddy that is.

Anyway we better get back on topic..this isn;t a stalker forum.

Edit: i'm sure a few things will be added in patchs/updates in the near future until then just enjoy M&B as it is and let the Developers Chill out.

Mount&Blade 2 has been confirmed by Armagan in previous threads. Probably during one of the .89x or .90x releases.

I think a lot of people agree with you on that.

A lot of potential has been left on the table for the Modders to take up.
