Open Mount and Blade Warband (Xbox) Crashing on save load

Just manually saved my game and as it said 'saved successfully' in the bottom left hand corner the game proceeded to crash back to dashboard (no error message, just brief music stutter then black screen). Now whenever I try to load that savegame, it automatically freezes with same music stutter and goes back to the dashboard again. I have tried deleting local data/using cloud to retrieve and uninstalling/reinstalling the game however still no solution. Is my savegane now toast? Can't think of anything else to do :/

As far as I've found, the save game is lost , I've lost days of progress the same way, developers seem to have to have nothing to say about it either!
