Mount and Blade: Warband Crashing at Loading Screen

Every time I attempt to run M&B: Warband, the game freezes after the TaleWorlds frame, and then tells me that there was an error and Windows cannot find a solution. I am running Windows 8, and the game has ran perfectly before. If someone could please help, or even link to an article/website that could help, I would be extremely grateful.

this is the same problem i have but i run windows 7 and it worked perfectly fine before then it randomly stopped working

On the loading screen, you've a loading bar, it goes from left to right in function of the action bein procesed.
What action does your game crash on ?

it shows the taleworld logo cinematic then crashes it never actually reaches the loading screen

It doesn't even get to the loading screen, it goes to TaleWorlds opening cinematic and then crashes.
