Hi people!
Already loving the game but everybody knows it still needs a lot of work.
One thing that a lot od people already commented on is perpetual war.
This is in my opinion one of the most important aspects that needs some love.
In my current campaign (also my longest so far) I joined the Northern Empire. At first things went pretty well but soon we were at war with everybody.
Ok so a challenge I thought. Ride it out for a while and soon there will be peace again. But alas no peace came at all. Most lords left and I was one of the few left mostly defending my only castle. So I thought screw this and I aslo left, took my castle and joined the Western Empire. Better this time. Still lots of war mostly with Vlandia, the Southern Empire and the Kuzaits.
I focused on the west trying mostly singlehandedly to keep Vlandia at bay.
But soon our faction declared war after war.
And yet again at war with everybody except Sturgia.
After a while we actually had peace with the Battanians and the Kuzaits but no sooner peace was concluded or was was declared with Sturgia.
So thats the state of my campaign now.
While it's fun to be battling a lot but our faction needs a break. I win my battles but I can only be at one place at a time.
I think there should be some mechanic in place the prohibits a faction declaring war if it is already at war with two other faction or something. The diplomacy aspect has to improve.
Maybe an other option could be is a make peace policy so as a vassal you have some influence on it.
Well just needed to rant a bit
