Mount and Blade not working with xfire ingame or sound global media hot keys?

When I launched mount and blade I noticed Xfire in game would not work; in addition, the global media hot keys on my keyboard which I use to control winamp ceased to function. Is there any work around for this or is just something wrong with the game right now? I also noticed if you alt-tab out of the game it will stop traveling and resume when you return to the game.

Have you tried manually adding the game to Xfire?
