Mount and Blade no longer loads... At all

I love this game, its one of my favorite games of all time, I recently thought a trying a mod would be fine and installed the 100 years war mod with the newest build. For some reason it refused to load at all, it wouldn't start or anything besides in the task manager where you check Processes were it would be running but it wouldn't do anything. I thought alright, so I just uninstalled it and tried... Didn't work, okay, restart, uninstall and delete everything Mount and Blade related, reinstall... Nope... Uninstall everything Mount and Blade related, kill the EXE, Download it over again and reinstall... Again... Still nothing. What the heck is wrong? How can a problem like this keep happening? Please any help would be appreciated thank you.

Have you changed anything else apart from the mod?

Might be worth running a quick antivirus\spyware scan.

And also , did you do anything else which was slightly unusual around the same time that you installed the mod? it could be something unrelated which is preventing it , but checking for viruses is a good idea
