Mount And Blade Crashing

Hi,
I have mount and blade 1.011,
while trying to play nearly any mod my game seems to crash,
usually in the middle of a battle.
It says on my windows vista that the game has stopped working

i have had the same problem for so long, ive tried many ways to fix it.

No i don't have battlesizer and yes i am using the lowest amount of people on the battlefield (25)

Anyway any help would be much appreciated.
Im not quite sure whether this topic should be in the mod section or here so apologises if i am wrong.

Native works beautifully,
Just seems to be in quite a few mods were the game can't handle it and in the middle of the battle it freezes and it wont unfreeze so i have to get out of it.

Umm usually not sometimes i get another error im not sure what it is i will try and get the error later on today while playing and post it.

Most mods are more harder to run than native. Maybe your PC isn't up to it?

Accutuly im pretty sure thats not the problem,
my pc handles games such as crysis, call of duty 4 & 5 and dawn of war 2.

Soo im not nesserially getting an error message,
It basically freezes up after a few minutes of gameplay mainly during a battle,

I press Esc and it usually gets out of it and sometimes i get a message "Mount and blade has stopped working"

i got a problem to im useing  TPW mod but after i play a little it gives me a error saying
C++ runtime error
programs/mount&blade/mount&blade.exeim pretty sure this is the problem can any one help iv bin at this for 5 days now and it hasnt stoped even after I reformated my computer

No help there,
it screwed my pc up and had to do system restore,
it said something about being out of date and the nvida control options stopped straight away after trying to work them.

So is the problem solved? I have same problem too with mods, native works perfectly but mods chrashes only saying M&B stopped working. I have battle sizer but I have changed the battles ingame to be 100 men in maximum. I have vista (i think 32 mb)
