wanted to know if there is any Larp'er there who, like me, asks the damn internet because there is not a single, small, cranky html 2 website that sells a hard plastic, pvc or similar, cheap armour! i mean, that amazingly fantastic steel plated armour with amazaingly hand-made by blind monks engravements is nice to see, but i won't pay 1299$ for a larp costume when i don't get 1/5th of that quantity each month!

anyone knows a place that does it? if so, link?
if not, anyone crafty and with acces to a plastic forge wants to become rich thanks to a whole army of Larp, jugger and role-play freaks?

Most LARPers wouldn't be caught dead in plastic, I imagine.

You might as well just put on your robe and wizard hat.

okay. take a motorcycle 60€ armour. remove hte motorcycle part. does that exist? looks like a darkened steel. good for medieval fighting. if protects you from a crash, why not from a pvc sword?

Even here in Kentucky you can find people who make cheap renaissance fair armor for an affordable sum. Just shop around a bit. Push comes to shove, you can make handmake some convincing stuff out of plastic, foam, or cardboard, lightweight wood fairly easily and just slap some metalic paint on it.

Alternatively, check around online for some cosplay armor.

Dude, plastic armor? Even amongst larpers, that's incredibly nerdy. And gay. And gay.

Seriously, craft yourself something in leather, it's already much better than cardboard and plastic.

Surprised no one has said chain mail yet. If you have some free time (You're a LARPer, so you obviously do) learn to make that shiznit. May not be as good as plate armor, but it's flexible and cheap. Plus you're just linking rings together so anyone with an IQ of 80 or above can make it.
