More then two arty pieces?

Is it possible or is it just when your allies bring it too? Because so far I have only had the option to get 2 arty pieces even after purchasing a Major commission

Well, I'm a field marshal, and i'm still only getting 2 pieces, so i'd take that as  a no.

I have a Major General or a Marshall rank i have only two artillery. Maybe that's  the limit

I believe that artillery limit is 2 at the moment. At least that is what I've gathered from responses over the course of the mod. As if one thread isn't enough......people never seem to.....search these days

just as a side note, in 1.1, havent played 1.2 yet but i doubt its any different, you get 2 pieces in battle, even if you purchase only one.

Arty is deadly enough anyway. Two cannons can cripple your party pretty badly.

I remember watching one of Diplex's L'aigle videos, and an enemy officer had only arty, and like 6 pieces of it...

That was pre-alpha. The limit has most likely been lowered. Guns stack when several allies have them so in big battles there will be more than two anyway.

The majority of my loses in battle are from my own cannons.  I have two, I fear my entire army would be killed by them if I had more.

You can call off their fire when your troops get closer to the enemy.
