Okay, when you're low on troops it does take time to build them up again, I'd like to see more options for this.
Firstly, the opportunity to recruit from the barkeep in taverns, this was what I loved about Lords and Realms in the original M&B.
And another, sending your companions to do some recruiting on your behalf, whether it is specific or not is moot but it would depend on their Charisma-based skills like Persuasion as to how much they could get.
And on the subject of companions, is it too hard to get new ones? Maybe some Sarranid based?
