More of a mod suggestion if possible

Something that annoys me in Mount and Blade (Single Player) is that you are limited to only carrying 4 weapons. This seems illogical to me: why not set it so that its one weapon per slot (hip, back, bow, shield, arrow, etc) and only set the limitation by weight as is already sort of done. This would allow people to have any weapons they want on them (including the knife which is just cool but useless to have around) and it would also allow for mods like Brytenwalda that have weapon breaking mod: it would allow more weapons being available including once again the knife.

Anyway, food for thought. Cyas all later.

yay! I want to have 50 weapons at one time, just because it makes me look cool!

Disagreed.

Wow, you completely miss understood. Like completely, did you even read what I said at all?

Let me try again in simpler terms for you:
1. Allow one per slot on your body meaning hips, back, bow, arrows etc. This only results in about 2 melee weapons, some kind of ranged weapon, arrows, a knife and a shield. That is not unrealistic at all.
2. You could not even do this because of the weight the weapons would create, making you only move at a slugs pace if you can carry all this (maybe tweak it to strength).

In the end you would not even be able to carry much more (if any) weapons then in native. So why bother you ask? Mainly actually for the knife. I would like to have a knife with me, without worrying about it eating up a slot in my inventory that is all.

Next time read what people say before just attempting to start a flame war. If you still don't understand what I am saying, then let someone who knows how to read respond please.

Yep, and I'll wear:
Bastard sword on my hip, super big nordic two handed axe on my back, board shield, longbow and big quiver of arrows.

I never saw something more realistic....

Didn't I tell you that if you couldn't read properly not to respond (oh wait what was I thinking you didn't read that either).

What you say would be true except for as you aptly point out the weight WHICH I HAVE ALREADY POINTED OUT. You could not carry all those weapons (in game) as they would be too heavy.

The funniest part is you are agreeing with what I am saying, you are just too stupid to understand it.

Relax.

It's not realistic anyway, because this could hinder someones movement if he's full of weapons on his arms and legs. It's something people add to images to make it look cool, but it's never been that way.

Now that is actually an intelligent response. And yes you are very much right.

However, just one extra knife doesn't seem like it would get in the way that much to me.

Weight limit. How big?
Do you consider armour weight too?

And btw. Slot types were already suggested. I don't remember where, but I'm completely sure it was.
But if it'll disable double stuff like shields and crossbows then I can agree with your suggestion.
I'm stupid? Tell me something that I don't know

I was actually also considering armor, but not sure about how it would all balance out. As to how big...well I was sort of thinking of basing it off strength and a default value. Though I don't actually know what that would be.

And yes removing the ability to double weapons is one big point I forgot (/didn't think off) for this. (That and the knife )

And I'm not surprised that it has been suggested before, I'm not the most original person out there. Really didn't know how to look for a suggestion like this (as in what search terms).

Anyway, its out there (again), and it's just a suggestion. No idea if it would actually work. And a little worried about the effects it would have in multiplayer apart from removing the double weapon thing.
