it would be fun the player was able to hunt/cultivate his own food,make his own pottery/weapons/misc.items/merchandise because it would add a new twist in the game ,plus extending the gameplay and leaving more room for new skills crafting/fishing/hunting/blacksmithing/mining etc..

Oh yeah, and check out runescape.

runescapes a click and fight game, Mount & Blade uses skill more than level.
