Turning on DX7 and turning off edit mode fixed it for me.

Turning off edit mode may have been enough alone I did not test that.

Well most of the admins specifically said to keep on edit mode. which is really annoying.

I don't know why they said that, however they had a reason for it, though apparently it didn't affect everyone.

I know that is why I left it on while I fiddled with graphics but as soon as I tirned it off it started to work.

Garcia Hernandez? Would be epic when we get braced bayonets. KGL Dragoons vs Infantry Squares and British Light Dragoons vs French Cavalry. It would be a rather flat map except for some heights where the French Inf are. Alternatively we could just have an British force of just cavalry against a French force of just Infantry... with a few guns perhaps as the French Cavalry ran away.

I would like to see some more open areas where we could actually have proper line battles. The problem I saw with the event was it turned into just both sides rushing for the houses and it turning into a skirmish. It would be great to see some full on line battles, with cavalry charging in etc.

I guess more nations are being done for the mod, why not re-create the battle of Austerlitz, Borodino, Jena-Auerstad or any other famous battle?
