More events?

So we now have a french army and a british army. As well as many organised regiments who have trained together and who I believe all enjoyed the event. It seems a waste to use these teams for just a single event so...

Why should it stop here?

Who wants to have more battles like this with these same teams? If a few people are willing to help out with organisation we could make this a semi regular thing. I am thinking every month or every couple of weeks. Depending on the amount of people willing to organise and willing to play. Though organisation should be significantly easier than it was before we already havwe the teams ready after all. The battles will only get better as people improve their game.

would be nice if we did other battles though, and gave reserves and new applying people priority for joining regiments.

I envision the regiments as like "mini clans" with the Captains and Sergeants as leaders. Whether they allow transfers to happen is their business as who they have in their unit is their business too.

I am talking about a new map every fortnight or month.

Well perhaps not next fortnight, next month might be possible. We need to finish this release off of course, and with this event over it's a heavy burden gone. Until then there's always linebattles.

I can map as can a lot of others you know. A quick convo with Vince and we can release a new installer with a new map and use the current version of the mod. You do not have to do any more work yourself

Hellyeah! And this time I'm gonna be a captain if I get the chance, I'm one active fella.

That "mini clans" idea could really work. People in the same regiments can make friends with each other, so they'll organize much more effectively. And with transfers, everyone can play in every regiment at least once. It would be very very great.

Twice a month should work if you ask me. A month is too long and a week is too short, people need to miss the event so they'll be eager, but in the same time they musn't be bored.


Edit: almost forgot; Although armies got their trainings, they seemed so untrained. We need to take the trainings more seriously.

I am all for letting other people take command if they are good at it but I assure you I have more than one stratagem up my sleeve.
