Morale problems with large armies

My morale is horrible, I have plenty of food and all that but party size is destroying me. What can I do to improve morale? Should I just drop some stuff off at one of my towns or can I fix this? Cheers for any advice.

Do you have lots of different food or just a hundred stacks of dried fish?

try different food, and don't stand around with your army! either put it in a castle/town or fight (and win )

You need a good variety of foods, loads of dried fish gets boring after a while
Also don't just stand there and wait for nothing...
Attack bandits, looters, enemy faction armies and so on. That helps the moral raise.

haha after an attempt to take over veluca I ended up with 2 soldiers left(that still wasn't unconsious) and then a band of bandits were ganking us. Ending up with exstreme low morale and lots of soldiers deserting

You can up the base morale, and up the bonus you get from leadership.

There is also a tweak that lets you adjust the morale bonus you get from food, but it is tedious.
