I've played my last couple of playthroughs as a trader. It's great that this is a viable pathway to success playing Bannerlord, and really does add variety to the sandbox experience, some things could be tweaked to add to emersion.
It is relatively easy to keep your morale up if you're an active noble fighting battles all the time. So long as you win, your personal traits keep party morale high. On the other hand, playing as a trader, it is difficult to keep your morale above baseline. Logic would suggest that if you're highly profitable, and you don't ever lose anyone, you should have great morale. Your party can go out drinking in a different city every day, taste the local culture, make enough money to buy themselves a small empire, but instead, morale is usually low.
Should profitable trade deals give a morale buff as well as trade Exp?
