Hi there, as you can see I've been starting my very first mod project taking the famous Monty Python's parrody of the Holy Grail quest. 

I have started this topic to keep you informed of any updates untill the mod will be released. But first, let me tell you what the project is all about...

I. The factions :

- The Britons (Of course with King Arthur as the king).
- The knights who say "Ni"
- The French
and
-The annoying peasants.

II. Planned modifications :

- Creating a new map including famous places like : Camelot, The bridge of Death, The castle of AAaaargh ! and many others...

- New models including the famous ones from the movie plus custom armors to add a more personnal aspect to your character.

- Adding new sounds with famous quotes as the "Ni" said by those very special knights or "None shall pass" and many more.

- Many more modifications will be added soon.

-Brand new weapons like the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, we will also replace the siege tower with the "Trojan Bunny" and much more...

III. We're looking for staff ! :

If there are any people who would be interrested joining the project as :

-Texturers
- Mappers
- Scripters
We would be very happy to welcome you to our mod staff !

Oh ideas: 

I think the killer rabbit must be close to impossible, but what about:

- Giving the siege towers a rabbit face (like the Trojan Horse/rabbit)
- Castle Anthrax with horny women
- A shrubbery salesman

And of course all the French insults:
"Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries!".

I think the coconut-clapping and the 'Ni' sound would be the most awesome parts of this mod, and the easiest to implement.  Can you use little snippets of sound from films without copyright infringement?  I think I heard something that as long as you played under three seconds of video or audio from a film, you could use it without copyright issues.

Yes that's right, sond or movie clip that take less than 3 seconds are not under copyright issues. I already added the coconut clap sounds.

One more thing, I will remove the horses but maybe an "Inventory trick" with the swallows wich may increase your party's speed ore something like that, we have not decided yet.
