Money too easy to get in 1.125?

I was playing 1.113 from when I started to day 750 or so.  I was up to 250K dinars.  Last night I installed 1.125 and the loot is off the charts!

I have a group of 27 total (mamlukes/swad knights/companions).  I made almost 50K in about an hour of playing.  I had to go to other cities because they were out of money.  At one point Ichamur and Tulga(?)  were both broke!

I see that I can get horses now too.

In a way I like it, but it's almost too much.  It would be nice if the loot was between 1.113 and 1.125.  I have trade 7+2 so that helps a lot too.

One thing I hate about 1.125 is the combat stalling out.  That used to happen to me in the original M&B with my old computer, but now I have an i5 with 8GB RAM and a 1GB graphics card.  I NEVER noticed even the slightest slowdown in 1.113 even in battles with 150 people.  Now I can tell there is a reduction in framerate and an occasional "stall out" where the game just stops for 1-3 seconds.

If you pay wages to only 27 employees and not conquered half the world, ugpgraded a dozens of villages/castles/towns and supporting over 2000 troops....yes you would be rich.

I have my own kingdom with 5 cities and a castle.  I have approximately 1,200 elite troops (swad knights/mamlukes/sharpshooters)

It can be managed.  I guess that if I had my own castle that I collected taxes from and paid my troops it would be tough....  Point taken.  I guess I'll just enjoy the insane money I can rack up now.  I treated myself to some Lordly gauntlets... 11K dinars... +11 body armor..

buy lordly plate armour, and lordly iron greaves...

as of me - i'm balancing at 5K all the time; on L30, I'll have trade 6 (leadership too), so then we'll see; i'll show u the screenie..

P.S. Currently with Rhodoks, taken and owning Shariz, also owning Almerra Castle, and 7 villages [thumb up]

In the early game I can usually make a ton of money just looting villages or trading or doing missions, but I mean this isn't an mmorpg, if you want to make money it shouldn't take 10 hours to do it. Once you start running your own kingdom though, it gets a little harder. I'm usually about breaking even in terms of profits verse costs right now as a King.

Yeah. My character is queen of a recently formed independent faction. I'm balancing the books around 40k denars. Still small, only hold Veluca, Senuzgda castle, and Unuzdaq castle... At war with Rhodoks, Swadia, and Kergits. Most of my income at this point is from ransoms/selling looted equipment. I'm playing on realistic/autosave, and it is damn hard lol  Just beat off a 1,200 man siege attempt on Veluca (barely). I think my crossbow proficiency went up 50 points in one battle

Money is easy when you don't have to defend anything/marshall, and only have to pay wages for 50 or so troops. I made 40k denars in about a week once just raiding Sarranid villages , back when I was a vassal with only 1 village.

I'm in control of 3 cities and 1 castle.  I have about 1,500 troops between them and they are 95% elite troops.  They key is that they don't officially belong to me.

I actually have 5 cities total, but 2 of them belong to faction lords.  They were slow to fill them, but luckily I'm at war with no one right now and the cities are up to about 350 troops each.

The next castle/city you get, don't give to anyone.  Move your troops from your cities/castles to that one.  Now you don't have to pay them, but you can still put them there.  It's silly for you to try and raise 40K/week.....
