This mod is amazing. I only wish to be able to have the full experience, which would include being in a line battle. Is there a problem with doing it on a weekend? Do most people in European countries have school or work during the weekend and that's the reason for Monday Line Battles?

That's a problem with weekend line battles, it will be extremely full so small or "newish" regiments would be kicked. That's what happened this last Monday, they had to kick whole regiments to make room for the commanders. Also on a side note, it takes forever to re-spawn. :/

Well, even at 8pm GMT most schools in the Eastern US are just getting out. And not to mention those on the West Coast. Me for example, I work till 9pm GMT that's 4pm here. Is delaying a line battle back till 9 or at the latest 10pm GMT that much of a hassle? I know that not everyone is gonna be able to play. And I do understand that most of the community is based in Europe, but what's the point of having a mod if you can't fully enjoy it?
And believe me, if I knew how to set up my own server I would host a line battle for the US timezone. Sadly, I'm computer illiterate when it comes to coding and stuff.
But all in all, I hope we can come all come to an agreement that will eventually suit everyone.
Haha, well thanks for the offer there Tiberius but I'm not willing to give up on the 17th just yet. I know we're a small regiment (all 4 of us) but I'm positive that once the Russian patch comes out recruits will pour in....hopefully

I've posted this before: While i do think that's too bad for the americans that they have trouble attending, there's no real need to move the public LB, just look at last time, the server was full either way. If you move it back 1-2 hours you might just be excluding others, and if you by some miracle don't do that, you'll just have upwards to 400 people fighting for those 250 spots. (Although I'll stay clear for personal reasons).

Monday line battle(Public line battle event)
- Teamspeak required
- First to enter the server will enter the event.
- All people will be splitted up in 5 regiments.
3 Infantry of ~ 23 men
1 cavalry of ~ 16 men
1 Light of ~ 16 men
- All regiments shall be given one captain chosen by the commander.
- All Line regiments shall be given one sergeant and two musicians chosen by the Captain.
- the cav and light shall be given one sergeant and one musician chosen by the Captain.
- Regiment numbers can be shortened down to 3 if not enough people.
- Anyone in teamspeak can join.
- Commander does not need to be an officer or member of a regiment.
- Commander can pick 3 scouts.
- Commander should be volunteering in this thread before the event starts.
- All basic server rules also count in this event.
- Battles shall only be fought on random maps.

So before you were complaining about overfilling by adjusting the time for US people, and now you are saying the server won't be populated enough because the time allows for US people?

So a greater variety of people who normally could not play could have the possibility of playing, instead of just isolating a single group so they have the possibility of playing. Either way, people are going to be unable to get in, might as well let some of us Americans have a chance.
