Im new on ts3 Is it possible to type there so what you type will be said aloud or you have to use your own voice?
I may be able to answer your question but I can't say I understand it, could you be more clear?

I think what he means is can he type on Teamspeak with a computerized voice saying what he says (Think Microsoft Sam) or does he HAVE to use his own voice.

Well, Teamspeak does not support said feature, you can either talk using a microphone or type into the chat window, however I wouldnt recommend this if everyone is in a game, chances are they wont hear the beep or just wont have time to minimize and read it during the heat of battle.

Having a public and regimental event? still dosn't really remedy the problem, the problem was that there are too many regiments to host on a single line battle .... it either needs a rotary system or a rotary system plus another regimental line battle per week where those who did not get in are given priority.
The regiments in the black list (there are some) and smaller ones will go to public one and other regiments will go to regimental one, simple

apart from the obvious titling? Who's to say the smaller regiments will even be allowed, or have the foresight to see they won't get into the line battle when 84e, and the 27th made it in (Not that either of them are small but they seemed to be the smallest groups on the field when I managed to get into spectating towards the end part).

I forsee a few groups starting up their own line battles to try make it fairer on those who seem to be ignored or shunned out with no explaination or dignity.

Its not that Regiments are being kicked out with 'no explanation or dignity', its the simple fact that there is not enough room to accommodate everyone.

If the 22nd had their way, they would have a huge server that could support every player on Musket, if not the world, bizarre forlorn hope aside, we either have to make do with the 200 man server (which up until yesterday I thought was enough) or use more servers.

Ill speak to Deliverance after my driving lesson if hes on Kator, Im interested in getting this possible ball rolling.

Apparantly so, see below

He's asking whether you can type a sentence, and then have the program speak it instead of using a microphone

No, that's text-to-speech for notifications like "user was moved out of your channel" or "channel switched".

And this creepy female-voice scares the hell out of me... i like the male voice from ts2 (was it ts2?) better ^^

lol Krimdor... You can't handle women:grin:

It's possible set teamspeak 3 up so that microsoft X or Y says everything that people typed.
Or I think it was possible anyway.
But you can't enforce it on others, it's a personal setting. So you would still have to use your own voice.

However, the 52nd Regiment, and 5te Landwer (the one that nOOb Crusader 'commands') had a private 'mini-linebattle' on the British Army server, its little things like this that need to occur more often.

I must protest we drew  plus it was good fun and chasing varadin and viridian haha was good fun.

Bit mean...but true

And with the voice mumbo jumbo i dont think TS3 supports it you have to have some other program instaleld or a mic that does it for you

So umm what kind of time frame are we looking at here?

It will most likely be the same time as the LB is now so im guessing 7pm GMT or maybe to be US friendly 8pm GMT

I agree. Being in the US, I cant really attend it because by the time you are already halfway through, I'm just getting off the bus, and not to mention homework.

You all know that it's only 3 pm here on the East Coast at that time right?  I don't mean to be disrespectful, but it's a little heinous not to account for those of us that live in the States.

This mod is amazing.  I only wish to be able to have the full experience, which would include being in a line battle.  Is there a problem with doing it on a weekend?  Do most people in European countries have school or work during the weekend and that's the reason for Monday Line Battles?

Again no disrespect, but I'd like some answers.

Sincerely,

Kaptain Hiner
