I hope I'm not posting this in the wrong place again.

Any way I'm having trouble getting module system to work. Each line comes up with an error of permission or access denied. I have done everything according to the guide(s) I have found. I'm running on windows 7 the module system for M&B 1.011 and Python 2.6.  I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I can supply a screen shot if need be I know my description isn't very good.

Specificly this is the error that shows on it

IOError: [Errno 13] Permission denied:

If you are trying to compile into your \Program Files\ folder, depending on your folder permissions, this may be a problem. Move the target of your compiled files (using module_info.py) to a place outside of Warband M&B's install directory, like somewhere in \Documents\, OR adjust the access permissions on your Warband M&B install folder.

right click on python.exe go to properties and click run as administrator.
If that does not work turn off user account control settings of windows.

Thanks for the replies I tried turning off the user account control and that had no effect and it wouldn't allow me to check my admin option in properties. Why I don't know.

However, when I changed the path to a test folder outside of M&B it worked. I will just use it as a work around by putting it in there then moving it over to the modules folder.

Thanks guys!

I am a happy camper now.

ya, for win 7, you can't just access other program files with other programs, its protected.
