- Can I reference an item from item_kinds1 from the module system?
- if I add an item to module_items that is also on item_kinds1, will they be duplicates?

As far as I know, there's not program that allows you to reverse engineer an item from item_kinds1 to the module system, and the module system over writes the item_kinds1, however if you use Morgh's excellent tool then you can edit the module system directly
