Module folder

i have had M&B for quite a long time now but when i came to downloading a mod i realised that i didnt have the module folder everyone else had, i have tried reinstalling M&B and still i dont have one, whenever it comes to downloading a mod it saves in the savedgames section, my HYW mod installed normally and appeared in the drop down menu, but i tried installing another one and nothing seems to work, how do i get this folder?

I don't mean to be a drag but it's impossible not  to have a modules folder, since you can't play the game (native) without it.
The HYW comes with an installer (exe.) so you didn't have to worry about installing it yourself.

You could try opening your M&B folder - probably placed among your other programs - and take a screenshot.
Mine looks like this:


Are you telling me you don't have a folder called 'modules', like the one in the red circle?
I have a sneaking suspicion you don't know where your M&B folder is. Look under programs.

i have M&B savegames and a copy of M&B saved games, i have checked through every single document, been through the My Computer, reinstalled M&B and thats literally all i have, the M&B saved games  im really not sure where else to look

saved games are usually kept in My Documents, you have to look into the Mount & Blade folder itself, which for most people will be in the path that Vilhjalmr just posted.
