Modifying scenarios

Is there a way to modify the random generated scenarios so that they never come with trees and water?
The reason is that my frame rate drops significantly when there are trees and water on the screen..
Yeah, I know my PC sucks

Totally agreed....

When I fight, I prefer plain field anyway...

Right, so there's this file called flora_kinds.txt
I guess that if you alter something in it, you can make all trees look like bushes, or something..
No idea how to do it, though

Ive heard of people editing the size of the random maps , but not sure about the flora.
