He does one 360 at one timestamp in a 7 minute long video and you call the entire game a 360 spin fest. He literally duels people properly for the remainder of the video.
Lol he's killing people that straight up can't use the right mouse button to block. Nothing to do with 360 spinfests. You'd have to fight in the top 0.5% of Warband MP to experience these on a regular basis, and those duels are between extremely skilled people that can both use those mechanics, not to mention that spamming has some pretty hard counters. I'm a garbage player in competitive standards seeing as I don't play any competitive, and I can still reliably hold my ground against 95% of the people in this game by virtue of having a right mouse button.
I understand that this is how I might come accross, but be assured that even I am not pretentious enough to say this.I am not trying to be offensive or anything, I am just promoting an open mind to all of this.
It sounds like what you're saying is that your (hardcore WB fans) voice should matter more because you've been playing actively for 10 years.
This just isn't going to happen. The skill ceiling has already been reached a long time ago in Bannerlord MP. There just isn't enough depth in the combat system (and the class system) to sustain an active playerbase for an extended period of time.What if you will still be playing BL (even being a bit upset about the mechanics) , but there will be a new and even larger playerbase that will enjoy current BL combat system and live on for 15 years?
You keep contradicting yourself as well. Read my reply now to Dabos in how I used 'realism' and dismissed it as an argument.
In your earlier post you claim Warband is arcadey due to being too fast, praising Bannerlord being more realistic because it's more sluggish.
"Not as fast" doesn't mean that is slow. Slower means slower to a reasonable level. Reasonable level means that combat is still fast and all animations are working and blending nicely together, without glitching or being too slow to support actions happening on the screen like in Warband.Why do you think is it slow and unresponsive? Because it's not as fast as ultra fast Warband? ... Bannerlord departed a bit more from arcade game where every action is instant like, and that's why you all calling Bannerlord slow and unresponsive?
Responsiveness it's a gaming thing, it is not matter of realism. Show me on video how you operating with any sword, and how "responsive" you are with swings, feints and instant changing directions. We will next compare it to Warband and Bannerlord and choose which game is closer to reality, okay?Then I tell you that realistic would be fast and responsive
Yeah... I remember even I was doing such a spins on a duel servers. But no, Warband didn't have this problem... Not at all...
Im having same problem in that i see the Bannerlord cursor briefly and then it crashes. Having redownloaded the Launcher -and overwriting the Bin and Module files -that address you mention does not exist for me. Meaning, there is no Bin folder inside the Community Launcher folder only a GUI folder. Im assuming the link on the first post is correct/latest version?Try this:
click ""C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord - Beta\Modules\CommunityLauncher\bin\CommunityLauncherModule.dll""
properties -> then unblock
That is strange. There should be 2 folders when you unzip the launcher: bin and Modules.Im having same problem in that i see the Bannerlord cursor briefly and then it crashes. Yes -success!I just updated the link to make sure. Could you try re-downloading the launcher and seeing if it works now?
Did I mention that it was the first video I clicked on and it had spins in it? I am not even trying to find you proper video footage of how arcade'y native WB feels like, and I don't think I should, as you can launch the game and see for yourself.The guy spins a few times in a 7-minute video. It's rather annoying having people who are seemingly clueless about WB's combat perpetuating this myth about 360 spins and naked 2h's being something really strong in Warband. They weren't. Watch some competitive gameplay and you'll find out. Sure, some good players might occasionally do a 360 but to call it a spin fest is absurd.
Darn still crashing - trying to test Vs Bots and I get the custom setup screen with F5 and once i hit Start in the Upper Left corner, i get the splash screen of the rider and then "There is a problem with this file..please upload" or something to that effect.
