Modern Warfare 2

Yeah - it's still horribly wrong, if you know the difference between the G3 and the M4.

Whether it be a game or real life, I shall always hate the AK-47 due to its (in-game, as I've never fired a real one) horrible accuracy, painful noise, even with earplugs, and design that makes me sad, because despite the fact that it is a good and reliable weapon, no self-respecting army would use them. There's something about them that just looks like it was made to be used by guerrillas and terrorists.

Congratulations, you correctly assessed the strengths and weaknesses of the AK. Go read the Wikipedia article on AK vs M16 for more info, and then go shoot both of them.

You know, you've never changed your avatar since I've been here? Also, I've noticed that you seem to be much less... masturbatory lately.

In MW1, I always chose a sniper just to get the chillie suit and then started shooting the enemies in the back with silenced uzi.

I got tired of people changing their avatars all the time, so I just stick to this one - goes well with my last name.

Don't come crying to me, just because I cut off the sugar, darling

Wow, been a while since I've played a Call of Duty game. I have 4 on the computer and 2 on the 360, but I lost all my data on the 360 because they wouldn't let us keep our hard drive for some reason (mind you, that's three years, 55 games (most rented), and over 14000 gamerscore). I should start up Modern Warfare again. Then I'll probably get Modern Warfare 2 when it's out.

The scripting is HORRIBLE in CoD4. By scripting I mean that you always have to push forward against enemy bullets. There are no alternative approaches; if there's a helicopter flying in the sky shooting at you, it is futile to try and shoot the guy, since apparently hostile helicopters come with an infinite stock of soldiers to fill in for the dead guys.

Oh rly? Never noticed it. But then, I have the PS3 version, and I fail horribly at videogame shooters.

I played on the hardest difficulty. The difficulty made the scripting VERY obvious.

Yeah, that was awful. Infinity Ward's Community-Manager mentioned that they would change that in MW2.

What I hate is in MP helicopters don't have pilots. Granted, if they had, they'd be shot down in two ticks, but still, it's a pain in the balls.

Anyway, Modern Warfare's Single Player was fun the first few times, and I just played multiplayer again a few minutes ago. Just a shame there aren't that many maps ...

The horror, the horror of playing on veteran. So many kill scenarios memorized to get through the level.

The only time I noticed this is in the Helicopter Evac mission where you had to run to a farmhouse on a hill then go down again. I actually liked it, having to try and try again using the bombs better and running faster
