Hi everybody,

first of all, sorry for my bad english...

i have started to modding a little bit for private use. Actually i have 100 questions but first i hope i get help with 2 of it :grin:.

As i said im modding for private use and i want to tune up my favorite Mods. My first question is more an problem witch i have.

1. Adding Items (in my case Weapons) in a mod:

I have the following problem:
I wanted to add weapons from a Clah of Kings Mod in the a World of Ice and Fire Mod. First i have copied the DDS and BRF Files from the Clash of Kings Mod and pasted them into the World of Ice and Fire Mod. Next, I have entered the BRF ( in my case : load_mod_recource = ACOK_15th_Century_Weapons ) into the module.ini. Next I have open the BRF with OpenBRF to get the right mesh names. Then I have created a new weapon with Morgh`s and entered the correct meshes.

I can find the weapons in the game, however, every time i get an error message in the inventory window : can't find mesh, and the weapon is transparent.

Does anybody know whats the problem?
I think the BRF is not correctly entered in the module.ini or maybe not at the right place but im not sure...


2. How can I make newly created items (for example with Morghs) visible in the cheat menu at find items?

How I make visible the items at merchants I know . However, I would have a better overview and would easier create troops when I would see the items in the cheat menu.

Is that even possible?

Increase those numbers by the amount of new items you've added.
 
If you've added one new item with Morgh's then the red numbers would now be 288230376151712950, unless I'm not remembering something.

This is the same process I use to add stuff to the cheat menu for AWOIAF so should work.
 
thank you i have found it and everything works.

but i have now another problem...

i have addet an item in my case a horse, i have entered the correcct mesh in morghs but the horse is white in the game...

in OpenBrf the horse hase 5 meshes!?

i have take the first one for morghs, but as i said the horse is white in the game...

do you know whats the problem?
 
I think it's usually a texture that is missing, misspelled, or not properly imported to a brf. This is a commonly reported problem around here so if you search around you should find a solution.
 
yes there was an missing texture but i have fixed it and in game nothing have changed...

OpenBRF shows me the horse correctly so i dont know wahts the problem
