.. I figured that out.

Changed Textures on Demand. Apparently all my video memory wasn't enough to load it all. Meh, I liked the lack of stutters in Native..
 
Dont work no more.

Can it be relative to a modification I do about STALKER CALL OF PRIPYAT for unlocking high texture lvl limited for seven version?

But I find this incredible, I have 2 go of video ram and its not enough  :mrgreen:
 
I got your save game and thankfully it loads quite quickly! I got to enjoy looking at the map in all its glory.

Sadly though, it seems that it crashes pretty much every time I enter a scene.

I tried to enter the arena, walk-around-town, the noble's hall, and all of them crashed instantly.

I then tried going and fighting against bandits, four of them. The game didn't crash immediately and I killed three of them, but just as I was about to engage the last one, it crashed suddenly.

I noticed people needed to turn on the load textures on demand thing, but I checked and mine was already set to be on.

It is really a shame cause the mod looks reaally good. The market screen worked fine so I got to look at some of the equipment available. Looked promising  :grin:

Hopefully we will be able to figure out what is causing the crash. Next thing I'm going to try is re-downloading the most up-to-date version of warband and reinstalling it. Maybe the order of patches i've downloaded has something to do with it, I think I installed it way back when... v1.105, now we are all the way to 1.131, long ways we've gone. Even more if you consider I remember .632  :oops:
 
I can get to the load up screen after clicking Start New game, then it freezes before it can finish loading textures. Then I have to use the Ctrl+alt+delete keys to unfreeze. I do have v1.131, so whats going on? I have one of the Best video Graphic cards out, so thats not it, plus a 500gb of space, plus 3gb of RAM.

Well, we had meet problem in change scenes then.
Ok, if you did clean install of Warband 1.131 (other folder if you have something in old) can you say me if it run?

I have update versions of Warband until 1.131 and it run well, but i had read in forum of people with problems in this, or by complete installs. It is try...  :???:

If you have change native files or main folder files, it can be problem.

Well I do understand that but still after intro the game freezes at loading screen tried it several times... 10min 15min its doesn't matter for how long I wait, it freezes in the same moment of loading the settings at 80% of the loading bar....and not in part of starting a new game cose Ive never reached the menu... Ive left the computer for  for 20min now and still it just stops at the same spot...
Meh same old story the more you want something the bigger the chacne something  goes wrong...

I said 3 or 4, if it late most, you have a problem.

What windows have you?

can it be windows 7 problem?

old textures dont run in win7?

Can you try it with emulate xp mode?
 
My problem dont come from Warband modification.

My problem is the same than Warian for example.

I think your mod is not well optimizated because I only can start the mod with texture detail to 10% (only way it work).
The error message during this loading freeze is : RGL ERROR : OUT OF MEMORY VIDEO! 

I have a great computer, I dont want to play in so bad condition.

And Its not a Seven problem, I have windows Xp 32 bit.

How many memory does your computer have?
And how many memory does your graphic-card have?
Brytenwalda is the only mod where you have this problem?
And when does it appear exactly?
Do you use other programs, while playing the game, which could need some of your memory?
 
While it loads Ini file than textures than loading setup data thers that windows error sound in background... than it freezes and application is not responding.
I'm playing also on the same setup in cRPG and FPW mods without any problems...
Now Ive checked the rgl_log
and voila ERROR: Error on creating shaders: Out of video memory!

how can i run out of memory with good pc?  graph card GTX 460 1GB and 4GB ram?

Should I low the graphics? think its set on highest level...or sth with shaders?

Idibil that load textures on demand done the trick... at the creating character menu ATM cheers mate :smile:
 
If it's a problem with shaders, it can't be a problem with textures :smile:
Maybe there is a broken shader, or a wrong shader-setting in a material...


Ah, forget it... Then everybody would have the problem^^
 
I'm getting the crash on character completion crash. I crash when I spawn in the city where you meet the bandit. I think there is some bug in the code because near the bottom in the log file you can see:

I could play the game fine in 1.0 with only 1 crash per day or something like that. Then my graphics card crashed and I put in another one which is the same so there shouldnt be any difference. I reinstalled Warband, redownloaded Brytenwalda and changed the settings to the lowest. Nothing seems to work. Please, I really love this mod and now I can't play it! Help!

I still have the "L8 Format is Unsupported" error

The megaupload link you provided doesn't work, it says it's an invalid link.  Can you provide another/different one so I can try downloading the fix? I am using 1.1, and I still get the same crash issues
