Mod Tools - Map Editing

Sorry if this has been covered already.

Will the mod tools being released allow us to edit the world map?

If not how would you go about editing the map? Is it possible?

From the looks of the new map, will the "world" map be extended beyond the bits between the two side rivers? and i think over time if it isnt developed into the actual game there should be other "countries" you can travel to by boat and it could take like a week to travel and **** like that. because i think the current map with only 2 "civilisations" is a little restricted and unrealistic.

i know this would take a while to develop and it would probably have to be done as a progression mod. but i think it would make the game alot longer lasting.

and also does anyone know if there will be a quest editor where you can creat your own quests?
