Mod Support in 6.3x

It looks like armagan was kind enough to add some more support for mods. If you copy the Mods/Native directory to something like Mods/MyMod then start the game you'll get a combo box that lists "Native" and "MyMod".

The one possible problem is that the savegames are still shared. I think those should probably be saved on a per mod basis since you can make changes that make the savegame unloadable. (Unless that was also changed in 6.30. I know adding another party to party_templates.txt seems to require that at least that many parties exist whenever you load a savegame.)

In any case, this is nice. Thanks!

mod tools is the next thing armagan will be working on. I suppose you found the tip of the iceberg-to-come

What do we know about creating mods? What can we change in terms of game mechanics and graphics, and how? What file formats must be used, and what software is compatible with M&B assets?

Congratulations, you have earned the Annoying Wanker special ability.

Was there really a need to bring this topic back to the front of the forum? Granted it's a lovely little piece of Mount & Blade history, but history belongs on dusty archive shelves...

Sry, wont happen again......crybaby

Glad to hear it cheesedick.

If you're going to hit that reply button, make sure you're contributing something to the thread.

Dragging up old threads for absolutely no reason is a pain in the arse for those of us using this forum for the development of new M&B mods.

WTF you are ****ed in the head, if a fly would fly across your face you would cry your **** out off your ass. Ignore me and shut your lickdick mouth.

Lolwut? You resurrect a useless thread for no reason at all, someone sharply tells you to stop it (you've done it once before), so you flame them?
Manners get you everywhere.

Almost makes me sad that Mount&Blade got more attention. Now we have all these idiots coming in doing stupid things like what our friend SRK has done.
