Mod or not?

I don't feel like I've exhausted Native yet. I've never really felt the need for a change. I don't have anything against mods, I just don't have the time to play both a mod and Native, and I know I'll keep playing Native.

I would be rather interested to find a person playing this game for an extended period of time, (say two years or more) without trying and therefore becoming far more interested in several of it's many mods.

Native is great to come back to though, after all the pike-pushing, the musket firing, the skull-throwing, and the laser-bolt blasting.

I have really played only two mods, Chronicles of Talera and Prophesy of Pendor, only which seemed enough interesting. So I have mostly just played Native sometimes testing some mod and forgetting it... Although I really have twenty mods waiting for testing and I'm pretty sure there is couple interesting ones. And I really doubt I can get back to playing Native after using so much time with PoP...

I only feel right playing Native expansion.

PoP seems everyone loves, but only Native Expansion have I found so far that increases party size limits.

I prefer mods that change or add to the story of Native and not those that just add some weapons and units.
The ones already mentioned cover most of those that are finished for 1.011, "The Wedding Dance" looks good, I have high hopes for "Custom Settlements" (high enough for me to help there ) and there are mods like "Onin no Ran" and "The Last Days" for older versions that are currently in the works for 1.011.

Given my limited time I haven't returned to Native for a while but I will...

When I first played Native I fell in love with Calradia, and I never found any reason to leave it since there are so many ways to play it. So when I got into modding (first for my own purposes, then of course I got ambitious) I felt the best way to mod the game was simply to improve and expand upon what was already there. I don't think I could get into M&B a mod that didn't have at least something to do with Native. Wouldn't feel like home to me.

So in a sense, I'll probably stick with Native forever.

If a mod made Native but replaced the factions with East Asians, British, Mongols, Russians and perhaps a african-style faction...

Lawd. I'd never stop playing.
