Mod help

    Hey guys i have an Idea that i REALLY need help wit im gonna need everything you guys have got i need modulers the whole gist im thinking a well lets just say a "World war 2 era" based mod and im gonna need EVERYTHING from modules to EVERYTHING I need a map of eastern Europe, im gonna need modules im gonna need weapons im gonna need vehicles a tank would sufice (If its even possible)  if not OOOO well. im gonna need someone to position the cities for me im new to this and need everyone i can get and all the help i can get so PM me or Email me at [email protected] if you cant message that then just email my other account [email protected] you guys i would really apreciate the help now

No one is going to help you if you don't know how to do anything.

This isn't the way a mod gets made, you can't just say "I have an idea for a cool mod", you have to know what you want, and know how to do something, whether it being modeling, or python, etc.

really the best way you have a chance of making that mod is to..

find a scriptinng way. (i guess people around here recomends the module system)

then write down all of your idea in a mind map.
now gather up some material to work with. Let's say take some OSP-packs.

equip your troops, and re-stat them. And now you have a base to work on.
And continue to mess around and try new things until you get the hang of it.
It want take long for you to understand how to work (if you have some computer experience that say)
and remember to script with a computer you have to think like one.
How to solve a proble for example
1. check if there is a programmed solution
2. if not check simular sulotion that you solved before
3. check for the most logical solution
4. activate manual solution (a human does it)

Well see thats what i dont understand about it is EVERYTHING and i really dont have the time on my hands to do it myself with school and the move and everything im working constantly and i cant do it all and besides i really am not a good map maker and/or troop creatoe and i want a World War 2 based theme with eastern europe as the map i have a load of idea but im not sure if its gonna work or not i just want som help not trouble

Really. You cannot say that you don't have time. And then say. " Make it for me, make it for me!!". Really this isn't a damn kindergarden. Make your own stuff or let it be.

Bottom line:

This forum is for those learning to mod (myself included, there is a lot to learn) to better them selves and get help from others.  Read the rules sticky.

There are other forums to ask for a mod idea.  If you don't have the time to work on it yourself, then you'll have to look elsewhere.  Not trying to be rude, just the way things are.  You are just posting in the wrong area.

If you don't have the time on your hands to do a mod, well DON'T make a mod. As simple as that. You can't ask everyone to do everything, it just doesn't work like this.

If you want to make your own mod you need :

1. Time
2. A brain
3. Patience

Then you can ask people to do some stuff you have no skill in, but only SOME stuff, not everything.
