Mod Band of Warrior for the 0.950 version ?

Hi everyobody,

I wish you will be able to help me, altough I think that I have made a big mistake .....

I've just installed the brand new 0.950 version, but I didn't thing that I would be 'forced' to begin a new party ....

I'm playing to the great Band of Warrior's Mod, and I was really advanced in the game, with a great renown, a great 325 warriors' army, etc ..... unfortunately, as I installed the new version, the mod does not work anymore, and I of course don't want to spend another two months to get such a renown and so many fiefs and castles ....

I actually saw the warning too late, and now it seems that I have no solution to get my specifications back ....

1 / will I get those specifications back in the next Band of Warrior Mod ? (I mean adapted to the new 0.950 version)

2/ may I get the 0.930 version and get my specifications back ?

3/ or there is no solution at all ....

You can uninstall .950.  You might need to reinstall .903, depending on circumstances and if you saved .903 in a renamed file with you updated.  If you saved you BoW game properly, it should still be there and you should still have all your specs.  BoW is not ready to be ported to .950 yet, and .950 is not stable at this time.  The BoW team is waiting for a stable release before they will do the porting work.  You might ask this in the BoW area of the Pioneers Guild.  major updates will almost always result in having to start a new character or import an old one.

There's no need to uninstall. Just install the .903 version to a different directory.
And just copy or move the Band of Warriors folder from the first install to the fresh .903 directory.

macethump and branko make good points, just download .903 again and install to a different directory and you'll be fine. But I just wanted to add that usually different versions are not compatible with each other. Even if by some weird circumstance you can get a save game to work with a different version chances are all sorts of weird and unexpected bugs/errors will creep in.
