Missions

I just did this topic to list all types of missions you get and from who.

1. Most common mission is the: supply horses or equipment or armour. All counts and kings will give you this mission often. It's quite annoying when you dont have the money to buy the stuff but you could steal it (takes forever). Note: I think you can give tattered or rusty etc. e.g If he asks for 4 double axes. You could give him 4 rusty double axes. It works the same way.

2. There are also capture missions such as: Capture Nobleman or Capture 4 Vaegir Knights (depending on what side your on they could differ) These are simple missions were u use blunt weapons to kill people (knock them out) and u also need prisoner management to hold them. Counts give these.

3. Hunting missions. Only one I have had is: Hunt Down Raiders. All you do is kill the big group of raiders moving to a base somewhere. They normally are big, hard groups of people. You receive these from a count. I've heard there is a river pirate hunting quest, I don't know where to get it from though. Is it Constable Haxayle's quest? I know the lord of Zendar isn't in in this version, but I don't know where this quest is from.

4. Escorting caravans. Given by merchants. Need certain army size. Can escort caravans on map screen aswell.

I don't know of any others. I've heard of some but can't find them. Reply with any I haven't found.

P.S Tell where River Pirate one is. Unless I was right!

Anyway...

I've never picked a side so I do mostly merchant quests and there are more then just escorting caravans.

1)Take x amount of goods to a city. You get given the stuff and are paid on delivery.

2)Rescue Kidnapped Girl. The merchant asks you to retrieve a friends daughter kidnapped by bandits. You can either pay them off or kill them all, save the girl and keep the gold.

3)Troublesome Bandits. A big group of local bandits (usually 50+) are bothering the merchant, attacking his caravans etc. so you have to go kill the lot of them.

4)Escort Caravan from point a to point b.

All of them except 3 have bigger rewards the farther afield you're going.

You can also intercept a caravan and instead of attacking it you can escort it to its destination. Not a big payer, but if you are both going in the same direction it helps to pass the time.

mfberg

Yep, mfberg is right. Does that work with neutral caravans or does it have to be same faction caravan?

It's also a nice dialog of greetings commander. Escort us to the destination?

Another nice trick is to figure out the distance for a caravan to consider itself to be homefree and park right outside that distance for a quick buck.
