Missing Companions

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but it sure seems like one. I lost a battle ( ) and afterwards some companions were gone, which is completely normal. I had 2 so I rescued 2 more, however 2 other companions, Jeremus and Borcha, remain missing. They were not prisoners with the other companions and they weren't a prisoner in any of the nearby towns or castles. When I speak to a traveler in a tavern and ask him where a companion is, I don't get an option to select one, as if I have no missing companions. Even if they were prisoners, the travelers should still be able to tell me where they are imprisoned. The companion mission report does not have their names on it so I know that I didn't send them off somewhere before the battle (how would I not have noticed if I did anyways) and on the character page with the list of all the characters they both say "Whereabouts unknown." Bottom line, it seems like they're completely gone. Help?

Btw, the only thing I can think of is that a lord took them prisoner and didn't put them in a town or castle. I'm not sure if travelers would be able to tell me their location then. However, because there were multiple lords in the battle I have no way of knowing who took them prisoner. Should I just wait and see if a lord puts them in a fief or would travelers be able to tell me where they were if a lord had them?

I had the same problem with a save except all of my companions were gone. Couldn't find them anywhere.

If your companions "escape" from a battle defeat it can take up to two in-game weeks for them to start reappearing in taverns. Until then, the Traveller NPCs won't list them because they don't exist within the world.

I seem to have a variation on this problem. I loaned one of my companions to Lord Surdun for a week to make him like me. Two days later he falls out with Yaroglek and defects to another kingdom. The next time I encounter Surdun my companion has disappeared. I've been asking travellers where my companion is, but nothing comes up. When will the companion reappear.

As an added complication I'm been using the M&B Tweak mod and I've been using the "We hang deserters" option on her.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Edit:

Update, Ymira (she was the missing companion) finally just reappeared out of the blue many weeks later and asked to rejoin the party. A few days later she was asking to leave! So the answer to my question would be to just wait.
