Nah i think it was the announcement of bannerlord. A lot of people just gave up and went away thinking bannerlord was around the corner.

Because, unlike most people think, the journey is more important than the destination. Money and gear-saving scripts were, in fact, a cheat mechanism, bypassing the very core of gameplay. Starting at the highest level doesn't work in any RPG, MMORPG, usually doesn't work in life too (judging by the attidute of great many rich kids I meet in my professional life, who never had to fight for anything, never had to compete and thus, they are bored with everything and everyone, living very meaningless life).

BUT!

Bannerlord is coming. One day. Someday. Luckily, before we all retire IRL. Because one pal of mine I used to play PW with was single when they announced Bannerlord and now his son is five years old...
