This helmet looks just wrong for me, it seems like the "wings" are just hovering above the helmet, the other stuff looks good though.

Looks great, wow. My only criticism so far would be that normal Roman cavalry should not ride horses with horse armor. Should be restricted to the cataphracts which the Romans seemingly used from the 2nd c. AD onwards. I think the segmented armor for the cavalry is also a placeholder, as it probably was not used by horsemen.

It is said (sticky under Posts) that it is for 1.5.4 and the devs are pretty sure it works with 1.5.5. So I will test it for sure (on 1.5.5).

I just installed it but Battania has the same faction color as the northern empire (green), anyone else has this issue? I have no other mods installed.

the mod works on 1.5.5 but there's still 2/3 things to improve. For exemple, if you have the habbit of recruiting looters to turn them into regular infantry, they still come as imperial troops, and non leves (regular roman troops). And maybe i'm not good at roman tactics, but i found harder to lvlup the heavy infantry. Btw i love this mod, get a lot of fun with it.

WTF?
So far it's just some new models and textures, right?
So far its reading the players wishes and new models. Extremely well made models that is.
The plans for the mod also seems super interesting and well thougt through.
And looking at the amount of people who downloaded the mod shows that he is on the right track

Yes, it's great that someone is doing a Rome mod. It's an entirely different timeframe. It's 'not more than TW did' though. In fact, in comparison it's pretty much nothing.

Looking at the original upload, he did quite some work already on it.
If he just does half of what is on the future plans list than he did more with 1 mod than TW did in 8-9 months of EA.
