Minor Suggestions

Since I'm already here, I would like to point something that annoys me much. In the gameplay video showing off the inventory system, seems like the same ugly thing from Warband persists: we can't see two primary weapons on the characters belt. If I equip a sword, ok. If I equip an axe, ok. But if I equip a sword and a axe, only one of them will appear on the belt, the other one the character draws from his buttocks. Its really a minor suggestion, but makes the game much more immersive and visually appealing.

Agreed. The issue would be clipping, though.

Yes, but not too hard to solve, just the right positioning... A possibility could be, if you have a sword, the sheath will always hang in your flank. If you don't have a sword, the axe or mace will hang in your flank. If you have a sword and a mace/axe, the sword still hangs on the flank of your body, but the other weapon could be positioned closer to the groin, or in the other side of the body (wich also implies ajustments on animations... I should've suggested that a couple years ago)

Well maybe it's implemented into the game already, considering that we see spears on the back ^^

HELLO. A right handed person draws a sword from the left and an axe from the right. There is no clipping.

Sword goes on other side.

There are exceptions.  The Roman gladius was typically drawn forward from its scabbard on the right side, as it was short enough to swing into a forward position without hacking out a piece of your own armpit.  A long sword will typically be drawn across the body from the left side, unless you're left-handed like me.

For the sake of game balance, we’re all right handed. I also doubt TW is going to have swords drawn from the right. And in no instance would any fully mentally functioning warrior holster an axe on the opposite side than his main hand unless.... unless... he were..... dual wielding....

In warband that's how it works :/

Also, there still is the issue of mace/axe, those are drawn the same way (from the side of the main hand).
It could be fixed with different placing, I'd love that anyway

Have the scrolling wheel on the mouse control where the selected unit is facing. Simple, but a good use for it in-game.

I'd love to see one minor change in facing while riding.  Rather than have facing remain constant relative to the world around you, regardless of your horse's turns, you should face the same direction relative to your horse, unless you intentionally rotate your body.  In the current case, to keep looking forward as my horse turns, I have to keep rolling the rodent to the side just to look straight ahead.  There's NO WAY that I should do several full 360 degree turns in the saddle as the horse circles around some infantry.  My facing relative to the horse (and to my target while the horse is circling) should remain fairly constant.

Too often, I find my character's upper body facing backwards on the horse, even though his legs are properly seated.  To say that this is immersion breaking is an understatement.

We're talking about Warband? Can you take screenshots of this? I've never seen the upper body turn apart from when you're swinging your weapon or shooting an arrow, and neither of those situations turn the upper body more than what's somewhat realistic (if we ignore the rider's balance on the saddle that is). Certainly nothing that'd break bones or snap tendons, even though the side-swing's animation's a bit clunky on the stomach.

I agree with Kretti. Send us an image. I find this very hard to believe

According to developers, Bannerlord will be very moddable. With this in mind, I think that you should start study how to mod games, so you can have all of your minor suggestions in our game... Not being ironic or rude, I think that a lot of good ideas comes from discussions and suggestions; and a lot of people can have a lot of different ideas. That's why I think those minor suggestions should be more directed to modders rather than TW. And, even better, if a lot of people starts understanding the basics of modding, we can have a game to fit our very exclusive taste (let out your inner autism).

Heres the difference between modders and taleworlds:

Taleworlds:
They know the game much better than the modders. If they implement it in the game, then we know it will be good

Modders:
What we are doing is asking a random assortment of people with varying skills and experience. They are also doing this for free. If we ask for a mod someone will eventually do it, but its going to be ramdom in terms of quality.

I really dont like this argument that "Its okay the mods will fix it"! because, yes they technically can, but it wont be as good as if Taleworlds is doing it themselves.

Well, okay, but at this point I don't think they'll give much attention to such tweaks. To be honest, I would be surprised and happy if some of the suggestions in this thread were implemented by TaleWorlds, but I'm inclined to believe that we'll must do it by ourselves.
