Okay, this is small but annoying the hell out of me as I do my first 70 days in Native.
Lets say I have 500 Dinars and meet a Soldier in the tavern. He tells me he and his 2 friends are looking for a new job, and will be mine for only 1500 dinars. I can then reply and say "Sorry, I'll only take one of you for 500 Dinars", recruiting less than the total for an appropriate reduced price.
But, if I have 1600 Dinars, I can not reduce the number I recruit. I have to get all 3 of them, even though I might have wanted only two so I can save 600 Dinars for the next troop payday (which may be tomorrow).
The current system means that sometimes you have to totally reject an offer for 5+ Cavalry, even though you actually might want two or three more, but paying all your coin would leave you no cash for other things. You then hope that either next time you only get offered 2 Cav, or you can actually afford 5 Cav.
Since it's no problem to "partial recruit" on an offer when you are short on cash, why not allow the same for when you have enough cash?
