I seen a video online which support that Bannerlord Dev is actualy working on micro transaction system for Bannerlord. Please tell me that is not true.

Also BTW callum I am still waiting an answer for my PM. Your former topic when we complain about player cheating or trolling in BETA we are suppose to write to you, i'm still waiting now for an answer for over a week.
Thank you.

I'm completely against a micro-transaction system. Even more due to how much the class system is very restrictive - it just isn't in the mount & blade style.

nice opinion but remember the devs need to put gas in their tanks to get to work and food on the table to feed their kids same as you (or your parents  :shifty:)

How anyone can think putting MTX is justified because "devs need to make money" it baffling and more importantly stupid

Nice opinion but remember that this game isn't free.

you are free to not buy any cosmetic upgrades

Use DLC to fund development, not skins put behind a paywall. Honestly you have to be an actual fool to think MTX are a good thing in bannerlord.

hmmm so the freedom to profit from your labor and work on the projects and sources of income you see fit is baffling and stupid to you, noted

your arguments basically amount to: you are stupid, I am not. and they are not very convincing

You already paid full price for the game and you want content that is already in the game aka singleplayer assets to be put behind a paywall for multiplayer.

If MTX is a thing and skins are a thing, 200%, no doubt they made the class system centered around MTX

EDIT: don't double post

I would prefer that dlc is free and cosmetics are paid, and I think the dves are going this model. I think its a good tradeoff, you get new maps, gamemodes and new singleplayer features and dlc and only cost for that is dlc skins paid for by multiplayer players

You just sound like "sacrifice multiplayer for singleplayer"

Taleworlds has massive potential with DLC. Look at warband where napoleonic wars sold nearly as much as the base game and just as a DLC.

There are better ways to fund development that are good for us, the consumer.

I won't be buying any of these cosmetic upgrades, they don't interest me. Just like how I don't change the paint job on my car, like some people do. If a paywall for the good of players indirectly through supporting the devs financially should exist at all, this is a good compromise. as long as pay to win doesn't exist, I encourage and tolerate the creators to seek profit how ever they see fit

Out of interest, how do you know NW sold that much? I was always interested to see how well it sold, but never found any information on it.

Like i said, there are better compromises. DLC is much more content for us, which will make the game more enjoyable and it funds the development of the game.

You are not forced to buy cosmetics, but for a game as bannerlord it first of all does not fit the game and second of all is a scummy move to make profit for low efforts since all the assets are already in the singleplayer.

Since its MP mod im talking about warband multiplayer playerbase.

Just looking at server online its always napoleonic wars server that are TOP of the list and its been for years.

This idea is ludicrous.

I suspect your low estimation of this team of software engineers, as is clearly demonstrated in your words, probably doesn't amount to much more than some personal vendetta or grudge harboring. This is the status quo, this is how they sell their business models to investors to get funding for development. it's a finance vs labor compromise, they happen all the time in business.  I'll just go ahead and continue to give them the benefit of the doubt and support them in good faith, because it doesnt cost me anything and feels like the right move
