So guys, i found this link not long ago, what do you grand people think of micro-nations? A cry for help? Scams? The way forward? Are they any different from other countrys just because there not reconzied by the UN?
Also, have anyone of you ever thought about making your own country?

None of those. Just for fun, usually. I wouldn't mind one, but with some nicer scenery then Sealand has.

If you own land, could you in therory make your own country, or is it still bound by the laws of the country that it is in?

If you try to stop paying your taxes the men in suits will come and take your stuff just like any other place. It doesn't matter how much land you own.

You know, If you look at the names there all "The Kingdom of" Or the "Grand Duchy of" There isnt many normal Names Like Wales, England and France.

And i guess i would call it rhyddha

You know, If you look at the names there all "The Kingdom of" Or the "Grand Duchy of" There isnt many normal Names Like Wales, England and France.

Erm, that would be The Principality of Wales, The Kingdom of England and the French Republic.

Micronations are funny but rather worth-/useless. I doubt any of them are recognised by any other nation. (that is not a micronation)

Canada almost had one.  When Quebec tried separating a few years ago, 2 guys decided they too, would separate, way the **** up north.  Quebec soveriegnty lost their referendum 49.5% to 50.1%, but the 2 guys' referendum was unanimous.  Never heard what happened to them.
