little update again

This is the safest trade loop I've found in 1.111. Gives enough time for goods to respawn and very little outlaw activity with good profit. You might run into the odd taiga bandit, which are easy to slaughter, even when significantly outnumbered, or very rarely run into a forest bandit or sea raider if they get lost from their usually patrol route.

My trade order:
1. Tihr: Buy salt/fish
2. Dhirim: sell salt/fish, buy iron
3. Reyvadin: sell iron (if prices are mediocre here, sell half here and other half at Khudan, but there are more bandits around Khudan)
4. Curaw: Buy iron
5. Sargoth: sell iron (half here if prices are mediocre), buy flax
6. Tihr: sell flax (and iron if some left), buy salt/fish
7. go to step 2

Rare sea raiders around Rivacheg?  I can't go near the place without running into them

As a neutral party supplying shortages during war seems to be quite profitable. As usual, the Khergit and Sarranid were going at each other, so I took a trip to Tulga to find an excess of spice selling at 160d a bag. Went to Barriye and sold the first bag for 990d. The various merchants in town didn't have enough cash to unload my whole supply so I made my way to all the other (starting) Sarranid towns and was able to sell each bag at over 900d.

This post needs a sticky!

It has been quite helpfull, once I learned how to do trade routes cash was no longer an issue.  Thanks for all the info!

I'm a vassal of the Vaegirs right now and I have 2 trade routes that I like to use depending on who we're at war with.

1
If we're at peace with Nords & Swadia:
Buy iron at Curaw >>
Sell iron at Tihr, buy smoked fish, buy wool, buy salt >>
Sell smoked fish and salt at Praven, buy Ale >>
Buy wine and oil at Suno >>
Sell wool at Dhirim and buy iron >>
Sell wine, oil, iron and ale at Reyvadin >>
Sell any excess wine, oil or ale at Curaw : repeat

This route got me about 15k in profits and took 2-3 days. You'll have to use your own discretion about whether the prices are good at that time.

2
If the above route is unavailable due to wars and we're at peace with Khergit:
Buy iron at Curaw >>
Sell iron at Tulga and buy spice >>
Sell spice at Reyvadin >>
Sell excess spice at Curaw : repeat

This is a lot shorter route but it keeps me close to home.

Note: Excess means the stuff the town can't pay for OR if the price drops too low from over-saturating the market in that town. These routes are meant to keep me within a days ride of home in case I'm needed and aren't the best routes for an independent trader.

Edit: Also I got the average prices that the towns will pay for goods by riding to every town and checking what they would pay for it. This just serves as a guideline. If I notice a good that is significantly less than the average, then I know I can get a profit for it somewhere.
