So when you become a mercenary for a kingdom they tell's you "If you fight for us, you will receive 25 denars whenever you defeat a party of enemies, or for any other significant deed."
To me that mean that I should get 25 denars for each party i defeat, every quest I finish (within the kingdom),every castle or city I take over & maybe if raid a village. Each day.
So for example if I defeat 3 parties in one day I should get 75 denars. But right now it looks like I can max get 25 denars each day regardless of how many deeds I do for the kingdom, as long as I have done one deed.
Or am I reading it wrong?

It is something like 25 denars per influence point (it spends your influence), so if you win a battle against a lord and gain 7 influence it will consume about 25% of it in the end of the day and convert in denars. This influence is lost once you leave the kingdom.

Oh ok, thanks for the clarification! I must say that it's weird that the game tells you one thing & the system work in another way.

It converts 10% of influence to denars.

Also, as of 1.0.8 it's very worthwhile to fight for underdogs. It's pretty easy to get 100 denar contracts which with donating prisoners to dungeons to raise influence can mean a pretty good amount of money since each prisoner gives ~1 influence.

Only 10%? **** that, then. Making a lot more robbing villages and selling the loot. Maybe it's more than it sounds like, but I'm having plenty of fun with my bandit run anyway.

I got a contract for 210 from the Western Empire who was kicking the Northern Empire's ass, but the North only offered 90
