This is Terc's Alexandria scene transitioned to represent Memphis, in order to make space for the new Alexandria.

Some changes have been made to make it more inspirational to the theme.

Awesome! One thing though... I feel like the buildings should be closer together. It is part of North-African/Middle Eastern architecture, were, along with thick walls and smaller windows, would bunch up the buildings together to create shade, and keep the buildings cool, as well as greater capacity for people.

That's something i'm going to do for Alexandria, which is what was done for Syracuse, and that is to make the buildings densely packed.

I'd like to have applied that to Carthage, and other major cities, but the deed is done and i'm not going to redouble my work when theres already alot left to do.

The scene is looking pretty darn good right now. Might I ask what that huge obelisk is supposed to be, exactly?

One question: Can I attack in to the city through the water?

Well, not unless I put a barrier up
(forgot to check if Terc put one up)

If you do, could you set up a slightly larger siege entrance than the one native typically gives (a tiny ladder propped on a wall)? Because it would be weird if player troops could win the battle without so much as entering the city itself.

Can you please stop making so awesome scenes. Even this, it'll take me atleast half hour to scoundrel all the routes and stuff with a HORSE. Same with all the others.

Tho gratz for making it so cool

Siege styles will vary.

Concerning most cities though, I use some placement and pathfinding tricks to ensure a broad fight.

****, i cant wait to see Carthage's harbors packed with ships, and carthaginian archtecture...

and Rome will be cool, even thought i think its hard to portrait rome during that period, since most major buildings were built after...
by the way, in Rome, the lord's room will be the Senate?

He's already done the previews for them. Go look through the media presentation to find it. Carthage is pretty spectacular, I'd say
