Memory Card Problems

I'm trying to save new songs to my phone's memory card but it always pops an error saying "The Drive cannot find the sector requested."
I checked the free memory and I still have about half a GB of free memory so its not inadequate space.

What can I do to fix this? I'm competent with computers but I don't know anything about phones 
I've tried deleting all my photos, videos, messages, etc. Nothing works.
Sometimes, it just fixes itself. Like, I can get about 20 songs in before it pops the error again.

I'm guessing either your wire, your card reader or your card is knackered. You COULD try formatting it and see if that helps, but it doesnt sound like it.

I didn't use a reader. I just plugged in the USB cable for the phone and used the "Transfer Files" thingy.
I'm sure I did that right so that's not it. I'll try reformatting.

That's the wire. I didn't know which you had, so I said both. Worth taking the card out of your phone and putting it back in too, mine randomly stops working until I do that. And the error sounds a lot like the one I get for my external HDD.
