Memorable Battles?

Simple topic, the best thing about Warband in my opinion is the impression and memorability that some epic conflicts can have upon the player. So I'm just curious to know are there any that have particularly stuck in your head as glorious? There's several that have always stayed with me throughout the time I've played it, one of them being:

Mod: Hundred Years War.

Character Name: Richard la'Vairn

Conflict - England vs. France, The Battle of Paris.

Naturally being from England myself I had sworn vassalage to the Kingdom of England and had taken part in many smaller skirmishes before this with the French following a horrifically long period of peace (there are only two factions so it's a struggle to find something to do). The war naturally began to escalate in scale, with cities and castles being captured on both sides with the English taking the advantage. However, all these smaller conflicts culminated into the Battle of Paris.

The Marshal at the time had mustered an absolute massive force to siege the city, I decided to join them in taking such a vital location. However, once we began to approach things began to go slightly downhill, a massive Army of French were waiting outside the city. The two clashed almost immediately, culminating in a massive conflict with almost 2000 men a side. The battle raged for almost an hour, with constant cavalry charges, exchanges of fire and huge clashes of infantry, resulting in heavy casualties on both sides. Eventually the French forces were pushed back and smaller skirmishes began to break out around the city. The ensuing battles went on for several days. Although the English eventually came through and pushed them back, their armies were utterly decimated, scattering their lords to their keeps and breaking the siege of Paris. It left both sides almost completely crippled for several days whilst both sides attempted to heal their wounds. The battle was over, but the war had just begun.

tl;dr, massive battle, English won, French died, heavy casualties, war. I'm interested in hearing of any similar events that have stuck with you throughout Warband?

Damn, i was literally minutes away from creating the exaxt same thread

Mine was in 1257ad 0.95. I was the only competent lord in the Byzantine empire, with a 100 strong army of veterans who had followed me in campaigns in england, the crsader states and the latin empire. After 1000 days of gameplay i was the ultimate mercenary, hated by every king and admired by every lord. I kept every piece of armour i wore, including a crap piece of chainmail i had worn during my days fighting the french.

So i was a byzantine lord. We had eliminated the latin empire and crippled the mamluks in several large battles, to which point all egypt was drained of wealth and their armies eternally weakened. The ilkhanate bowed to us and the crusader states dared not challenge us. All was well.
One misty day i received the dreadful news. The golden horde had forced peace with the war-beaten ilkhanate and baltic states, and turned their attention to us. Their possessions were massive. From northern anatolia to sweden, nobody stood in their way. They had more lords than all of western europe combined. They could maintain three separate campaigns at once.
The marshall of Byzantium was a feeble man, accustomed to sitting on his throne all day. I, however, took the initiative, and summoned the lords of the realm one by one to weather the storm. Storm? It was a mongolnado. Almost three thousand horsemen landed in northern Anatolia from the crimea and immediately besieged Ankara. I charged them, the entire army of 900 well trained men behind me. We would win.
The battlefield was on their side. Even as i arranged my spearmen i could hear thousands of hooves bearing down on us. Before my men were even prepared, the full weight of the mongol cavalry charge cut half of them down. They would have routed, but i bought my army close together, dismounted my cavalry, and ordered the spearmen to skewer any man who came near.

I lost a lot of men. I survived each attack, holding the open plain with increasingly weakened men. They rode just out reach for an hour, raining thousands of arrows down on us. I assumed they'd keep coming until we were either captured, or corpses. My finger hoverred over the tab button. All hope was lost...

I've been meaning to create this thread for ages, I've always been curious

1257 has always been a mod that's on my list to play, however my poor laptop struggles to load the world map every time that it just becomes a struggle to play and get anywhere  3000 Mongols! I can honestly imagine nothing worse running straight at me, though to survive such an onslaught for so many charges without routing is an achievement in itself. I'm curious though, what was the final outcome of this conflict?

I won, but i lost all my veterans, and couldn't see my health bar by the end. The last few waves were just recruits, but boy - that first charge had me sweating. If i saw someone coming down the street with The couched lance animation I'd honestly crap myself. But two hundred? (I use battlesizer) i was about to ragequit.

Sorry if i got a bit carried away there, I've been writing a novel this evening

I can fully understand the couched lance thing, watching almost 300 hundred French Chevalier Bannerets run into my infantry lines at full speed was a horrific thing to witness haha The more carried away the better in my opinion!
