Meet little Eric!

Heehee, thanks yall!

My part in the whole thing was pretty easy I gotta say. The wife, now she's a friggin trooper. I wish everybody could be lucky enought to have a spouse as strong and loving as she is.

And about the first 9 or 10 hours of labor were without medication and pretty rough on her. Then she started having terrible back pain so they gave her an epidural. Smooth sailing from then on. If anyone is thinking of going into a medical field become an anaesthesiologist... they get all the love.

Well, she won't be anymore if you keep growing your lazy ass. If you think it was pretty easy then you're doing something quite wrong  Start with rocking the baby as macethump correctly pointed out or at least do some housekeeping. With an apron of course

I meant the birth! All I had to do was keep her happy and not pass out. I'm definately holding up my end of the care taking process, trust me. Especially with her less mobile till she heals up.

Congrats.

Real nice, congratulations.

I can barely remember the baby years. My son is 9 now.  I vaguely remember chaning diapers with a shirt wrapped around my face.

I always thought you were 16... don't know why.

Wow, your wife looks really good considering the circumstances! And congratulations of course.

Congrats!

Just to say, the baby is VERY cute, especially for a fairly newborn one (they usually look a little... martian) Lots of hair is a sign of intelligence, I was born with hair covering my whole body (move over Einstein) but it soon fell off.

My mum took twenty minutes to give birth to me (I lie not) and was preparing a lesson for the next day and entertaining guests at the same time (well, my dad was doing the entertaining)

The midwife arrived late and tripped on the stairs, twisting her ankle, and my mum stuck me in a basket and went to sleep an hour later!

This is to tell you, make sure that baby is taken care of, and keep it away from baskets or it'll end up like me.

Again, Congratulations.

You had a hell of a birth.

I came 2 weeks early, the wrong way round, and wasn't breathing.

Congratulations! I've just watched Knocked up today...good movie

Congratulations! Some years from now you will have a little dude to kick your ass in gaming!

I don't think I ever will gonna want a child, I wouldn't want me as a father.

That's the great thing about fatherhood - THEY DON'T GET A CHOICE!   I went from being God when they were 4 to vacuuous and vapid when they were 14.  I'm looking forward to gaining some intelligence back when they reach 24.

Enjoy it while you can, Nair.  Soon he'll be driving (assuming there will still be gasoline [petrol, benzin] and cars then...).

Soon he'll be driving

I'm trying really really hard not to think about that. I know what I did when I was at that age... if he ends up anything like me I may have to lock him in a closet until he's in his mid 20s.
