    This is going to be very complex to make, and I know I wouldn't want to (meaning I couldn't  ), but It is a very good idea, and I'de love to play something like that. If you could figure it out, it would be cool if you could kill off other lords too.

The fusion of Crusader Kings and Mount and Blade could make this game wonderful if you arrive to make an easy way to play with the time speed.

Plus, marriage doesn't always have to involve love. It didn't have to in the Mevieval times, at least.

I'd be surprised if there's any less materialistic marriages these days, considering that the powerful are much more exploitable these days (marrying outside of your 'class' is much easier).

The materialistic marriage haven't disappeared, but the will have changed. Now, in the western world at least, YOU can choose to make a materialistic marriage or a love marriage for your own interest. In the medieval times, it was your chief of family that have this choice, for your family interest.
In the chivalric imaginary, you have a wife for your interest and a mistress (promised for someone else) for love.

Divorces? Well, I'd think the church would have something to say about a king getting a divorce... if this is a Church of Calradia? There're little snippets in the game alluding to some sort of religion that resembles Christianity...

Man... having a sort of Papalesque force in Calradia would be -awesome-.

In medieval times, in Greece, the Patriarchate allowed divorces, when both spouses agreed. I do not know about the pope, but Orthodoxy allowed them! So it is realistic to add them...

2. The catholic church allowed divorces when one of the spouses was infertile, if the husband was impotent, or if a close degrees of kinship was discovers between the husband and his wife.

Sounds for me this is.. pointless with age and such in a sandbox game. Sure its a fun addition but there is tons of other stuff that would improve the gameplay experiance.
Still its better to do something then to do nothing so GL with this mod.
