Medicine won't level up

Been playing since release and noticed my medicine has not leveled up once. still 0 points toward next level.

I even tried brutally wounding my entire party and sitting in town for them to heal, nothing. Anyone else having this issue? It seems to be a bug and its rather annoying. Very important skill tree to have not working at all.

Ok so i dont know how it works when you put 0 points in it but try making yourself clan surgeon. I always have some points in intel and i notice my medicine mostly levels up when i simulatie battles.

Ok so you have to be the clan surgeon. So does that mean scouting, tactics and engineering only level if you take that role? O, I very much dislike that and if they plan to keep it like that in the game they need to better inform the player. I do hope they change this, instead maybe if you pick that as your role in the clan you get a decent boost to the learning bonus.
