SP - Battles & Sieges Medic troops/companion in-battle perks

I feel as though it would be interesting if companions with certain levels, and troops that have a more supportive role (ie archers, crossbows) could be involved with helping revive or motivating unconscious fighters to fight again. Similar to how, in Apex Legends, a legend is revived, that would complicate the battle more interestingly. Over course, it would have to be a select few and these types of troops (not companions) could be hard to find, but it would be something that would be a nice idea to play around w imo. If they're downed and no medic approaches them, we wouldn't have random 'reawakenings', which I think is important to make clear in case people think it could be abused. I assume this is something that could be implemented after a few more AI patches though, and I understand that it would be complex to implement, but would be a cool pass for NPCs to have, especially if you're trying to maintain an army.

I'd rather see something like standard bearers and horn blowers first before medics. But yeah, some support units would be fun to see.

Completely agree, I meant more as an AI adaption rather than a new skin or something like that. Specifically for the party surgeon role to begin with, and later we can have troops more specialised with their own skin. That may require an additional window/panel to allow the play to specify what party members do (other than fight with cavalry, archery, infantry, etc.). An engineer may prefer to use siege equipment (with perks), for example, and a medic may prefer to help those near him, specifically if archers are wounded - helping infantry in the middle of the battlefield could be risky and they may not choose to help (I guess that would link to an empathy characteristic that the battle-hardened may not care for as much).
